| Abstract | O objetivo da geografia aplicada e estudar os padrões de organização do espaço, a fim de predizer e controlar suas mudanças. Para atingir esses objetivos, a geografia precisa contar com um fluxo constante de informações, que sejam capazes de refletirem as variações nos padrões de organização espacial. Sob esse aspecto, a técnica de sensoriamento remoto e de grande utilidade, pois permite, em curto espaço de tempo, a obtenção de grande quantidade de informações sobre os fenômenos que ocorrem na superfície terrestre. Neste fascículo sera dada atenção a utilização de técnicas de sensoriamento remoto no campo da geomorfologia, procurando-se dar uma visão geral da aplicação de diferentes produtos do sensoriamento remoto em trabalhos geomorfológicos. ABSTRACT: The objective of applied geography is to study the patterns of epatial organization, airning to predict and contro 1 their changes. To attain such objective, geography needs a constant flux of inforrnation refleting the variations in the patterns of spatial organization. This respect, remoto sensing techniques are of great - value since they allow, in a short time, the acqüisition of a large volume of informations regarding phenomena that occur at the sur face of the earth. In this fascicle, attention is given to the utilization of remote sensing techniques, in the field of geomorphology, in an attempt togive a global view of application of different remote sensing products that can be utilized in geomorphology. | |||
